MACHINING

 Today, just an introduction to the lathe machine. The machine is very similar to the CNC machine you used in grade 10 expect it is not computer operated this time.

 This is probably the hardest chapter to understand since it is all concepts. Let's try........and ask questions when needed. I will be having some remedial sessions next week to help you out.

 Girls, it's a busy week these 2 weeks. Good luck on your SWQs. But remember to study for Portfolio Task 2 on Thursday or Week 5 and for the midterm in Week 6.

Hello Girls

For the AC Circuit exam on Sunday, study from Portfolio Task 1 (already posted to Showbie and the blogspot). You will also study for EVERYTHING you studied for Portfolio Task 2.

Remember that you will need to know how to change milli and kilo to regular units.

Also remember: An inductor is a passive electrical component which takes advantage of the magnetic field produced as a result of the __current_ running through it.
